Arizona's largest water theme park opened to season pass holders on July 1, 2009. The west valley attraction opened later to the general public with prices ranging from $29.23 for children and seniors to $32.47 for adults. While the complex may be familiar to some Phoenicians as the old Oasis Water Park, the new complex has been expanded and offers an explosion of several rides and adventures.
Roadshow Entertainment Brings Revitalization to the Phoenix Desert
The park is owned by Roadshow Entertainment, an Australian business out of Melbourne. The company has spent $30 million revamping the park into an extravagant collection of nine rides and several entertaining areas including a beach and aquatic playground. The park hired 300 staff to run the park which was a positive point during a rough economy. Because of Arizona's long pool season, the park hopes bring in a large revenue serving summer vacationers, as well as, local families.
Water Park Safety
The park takes safety seriously and promotes its adherence to the Virginia Graeme Park act by introducing website visitors to the importance of the law and what it means to those who visit the park. Many of the drains rise a bit above ground level do to safety standards. The park also puts height requirements on the various features, most maintaining a restriction of 42 inches or taller. For little ones, the playground offers a fun time and its own height restrictions. Those over 60 inches tall must be accompanied by a child.
Special Events at Wet and Wild Water Park in Phoenix
By taking advantage of the warm evening temperatures, the water park is able to provide a fun movie program. On Fridays, through August 28th, the park shows movies beginning at sundown. Visitors can enjoy a show while floating in Monsoon Bay or relaxing in the many lounging areas. The park also offers special season pass holder events that allow members to bring a guest at highly discounted prices.
Food and Snacks Throughout the Wet and Wild
The park offers guests one main indoor eatery offering favorites like pizza, sandwiches, salads and baked goods. A snack bar by the wave pool provides the park's favored foot-long hotdog while several carts around the park provide drinks and snacks to keep swimmers nourished.

The park is located at 4243 W. Pinnacle Peak Road in Glendale. The park resides outside the bustling city nestled in the foothills of Pinnacle Peak and can be easily reached by any of the Valley's freeway systems.
